Photo Restoration
Whilst not a key part of the business, it is a service that we can offer.
At the end of the day, our photo's are our memories and the stories that pass on to future generations in our family. So why risk losing that important story or memory for the sake of a bit of damage to the image. Don't throw that damaged image away yet, let us see what we can do first.
Obviously not all damaged photo's can be repaired, but you'll be surprised at what we can achieve with a little bit of time, a bit of skill and a hell of a lot of patience ;)
Unfortunately we can't put a guide on prices for this service as every image is different, but if you have a damaged photo you want repairing, please feel free to email me a scan of the photo. I'll have a look at it and let you know what I can, or can't do with it and how much it might cost.
Note
Repairing photo's can be very time intensive, but also very rewarding, so I tend to use them as hobby projects. So if you don't mind it taking (potentially) a couple of weeks, the price will be considerably lower than if you needed it in a couple of days. If time isn't an issue I can fit it in around other projects and almost use it as a distraction from work. I love doing stuff like that, so when I'm stressed with whatever I'm working on, I can switch to repairing the photo and it calms my mind.
Obviously I can do it in a short period of time if the image is NEEDED, but it then becomes an issue of cost and I have to charge at my normal rate, which unfortunately may make the project financially unrealistic.
Photo Manipulation
I can also do photo manipulation. The easiest way to explain is to show you, so here you go..
This was an image designed for a client. He had taken the photo of the car at the Goodwood Festival of Speed and mentioned at a meeting, as we were flicking through his images, that it would suit being outside his Dad'd old garage. So as a suprise for him I took the two photos and blended the them together.
It took a fair bit of time, but the smaile on his face made it worthwhile ;)

This image was done as a present for somebody. At the time Jeremy Clarkson had said on Top Gear that all Audi drivers were 'Cocks.' And as you can probably guess from the image, the recipient of this image was a Scottish Audi driver.
Thankfully he saw the funny side and absolutley loved it.
So if you want anything similar doing, just get in touch.
